Aubrey's Nursery

I am 37 weeks pregnant and had enough already! Haha. I shouldn't complain because up until now I've had a very good pregnancy. Just recently I got carpel tunnel on both hands. I can't wear my wedding rings anymore, I can't feel my fingertips on the keyboard as I type, I can't make a fist and I've been dropping things left and right!! On top of my hands aching, my poor feet are swollen, I could hardly squeeze them in my "comfy" uggs!! I'm able to get through it because in just a few more weeks Aubrey will be here and I can hardly wait, so that's what I'm focusing on to get through the aches and pains.

Aubrey's Nursery has been the most exciting project so far. I just want it to be Perfect! Her daddy has been working so hard trying to get everything done in time before she comes!

Ever since I started "My Girly Girl Bowtique" I really hoped to have a girl one day to share my girly side with and I'm just so estatic for my baby girl to come!! I always wanted to create the most precious girly girl room ever. I must have had 15 different shades of pink samples spread on the wall before I picked the perfect shade.

The theme and colors are birdies, owls and pink and green.

I saw this bed setting at Pottery Barn for kids and just fell in love with it. It was fun, girly and precious. My sisters gave me the entire bed set.

I remembered "LuckyBluebirdArt", www.etsy.com/shop/LuckyBluebirdArt had awesome prints of birds and owls so I definitely knew I wanted her to custom make prints to go with the bed setting. This is what she created for me. I LOVE LOVE them!!!

We found the perfect crib set at "Baby and Teen Gallery", Elizabeth, NJ. That was Grandmoms and our present for Aubrey.

I also definitely wanted a chandelier in her room. I found the perfect chandelier at Pottery Barn Kids, his grandmom gave us this present for Aubrey.

Details: I picked up great light pink crystal window knobs from Anthropologie to replace our old wooden knobs.

Another Pottery Barn Find that I thought would go great is the Madison Floral Border Rug.
